If the assembly source contains enough information—a ‘<samp><span class="samp">.leafproc</span></samp>’ or ‘<samp><span class="samp">.sysproc</span></samp>’ directive defining the operand—then <code>as</code> translates the <code>callj</code>; if not, it simply emits the <code>callj</code>, leaving it for the linker to resolve. </body></html>
